| Using ajax version with your own board
Just add "&ajax=true" to the gb.cgi url in order to use the ajax version with your own board. -posted by admin at 12 Oct 2009 19:00 |

it was about adding &ajax=true to the URL -posted by Kutless at 11 Oct 2009 20:10 |
| also i was wondering if there was a parameter that can be set for that using the html coding -posted by Kutless at 11 Oct 2009 20:11 |
| the problem is that the javascript and html code need to be on the server you're connecting to - this seems to be a security restriction in ajax. The best you can do is using the gb.cgi script and put it into an iframe on your site. I realise this doesn't let you customize the gui, but I'm not sure if there is any other way. -posted by admin at 12 Oct 2009 12:12 |

| It loads on the iphone but unable to draw. any attempt to draw only scrolls the screen around. I can write in the chat line but unable to enter what I wrote. -posted by eep at 17 Sep 2009 05:41 |
| Try again - both these issues should be fixed now. Note however that you won't be able to write text on the whiteboard on the iphone at the moment. -posted by admin at 17 Sep 2009 12:35 |
| I get a "Script alert: error opening firewall tunnelling connection" with my mobile,
not sure if this is my own 'fault' though. (Nokia N95) -posted by Ghoul at 29 Sep 2009 15:16 |
| try reloading the page - it should give you a more detailed error now. -posted by admin at 29 Sep 2009 15:46 |
| The same error message remains. -posted by Ghoul at 30 Sep 2009 05:20 |
| I used my iPhone, half of what I drew didn't show via what I saw on my Mac, but I saw half of the laggy scribbles. Also, I couldn't enter a name, and couldn't chat. -posted by Dumka at 30 Sep 2009 10:22 |
| Ghoul: I changed the error message so it gives the error number and url. It should say something like "Error 404 opening firewall tunnelling connection http://www.groupboard.com/mp/...". If you don't see this, reload the page. Let me know exactly what the error says. -posted by admin at 30 Sep 2009 11:42 |
| Regarding the iphone: it's difficult debugging this without actually having an iphone, but it sounds like an issue with the keydown event. If anyone wants to help me debug, please email info-contact and I'll build a few test pages so we can figure out exactly what is going on with the iphone's keyboard events. -posted by admin at 30 Sep 2009 11:53 |

| For some reason your phone isn't letting you open an xmlhttp connection. Are you sure that wifi/gprs is still active after loading the web page? -posted by admin at 1 Oct 2009 11:53 |
