I have a couple suggestions: 1. Disable Drawing for only you, jut in case you miss the notification center button to slide down and draw a line or you think you might sit on it or make accidental marks. i know fill tool has also made problems
with trying to zoom. 2. something to stop disconnecting when you switch from 3G to wifi or vice versa. i know this only happens rarely and only on devices ... More

also crashing -posted by lolz at 20 Oct 2011 22:32
Thanks for the suggestions. For [1] you can change to the chat tab and then you won't have to worry about drawings. There is an issue with fill and zoom...perhaps we need to make it do the fill when you lift your finger. [2] We aren't doing anything special when user changes from 3g to wifi...I think the phone just resets the connection, so there isn't much we can do. [3] We do have an eraser on ipad and android, but not iphone. I think it was due to lack of space, but we'll maybe look into that again (as well as your other suggestions). -posted by admin at 21 Oct 2011 10:48
Regarding crashing: we haven't had a single crash report on either iphone/ipad or android for something like 6 months! If the app does crash (and you have a recent version of iOS) it should automatically send us the crash report. That doesn't seem to have happened, so please send the report manually - see http://www.anoshkin.net/blog/2008/09/09/iphone-crash-logs/ -posted by admin at 21 Oct 2011 10:50
thanks, its nice to know i am being heard, the first suggestion was also for people, like rofl22, who have other people in the house and troll and get them banned. -posted by lolz at 21 Oct 2011 15:10
I use the app on a Motorola XOOM running android 3.1 and it's been rock solid, never crashed once. -posted by Phill at 22 Oct 2011 16:05
ive only crashed once since i downloaded iOS 5 -posted by lolz at 22 Oct 2011 18:29
if you can email details of the crash to info-contact@groupboard.com that would be great (see the link in my prev comment which explains how to get the crash logs) -posted by admin at 22 Oct 2011 18:35
its only happened once, its not really a problem. -posted by lolz at 22 Oct 2011 20:16
There is a new version of the iphone/ipod/ipad app which fixes the crash and also adds the eraser tool for iphone/ipod. -posted by admin at 10 Nov 2011 13:11
oh, and to lolz or whoever mentioned about not being able to switch between boards - you can switch between boards! Just go to Connect, then Find boards and you'll see a list of bookmarks showing all the boards you have connected to. -posted by admin at 18 Nov 2011 17:54
Now im having trouble with chatting. I will type a message, press send, and nothing appears in the chat log.

Generally this means a network issue...you only see the messages in the chat window after they are sent to the server and back again (same as when using the java version in a browser), so if the network isn't working then nothing will happen when you send a chat message -posted by admin at 23 Dec 2011 20:33
New version of the iphone app just released which fixes an occasional crash in the chat. Also, if you like the iphone/android app please leave a rating/review! -posted by admin at 22 Mar 2012 16:13
