New version of Groupboard iPhone App: pinch zoom + iPad/iPhone 4 compatibility

We have recently made a number of updates to the Groupbard iPhone App:

On the iPhone you can now use two fingers to scroll/zoom, making it easier to use on a small screen.
Now works on iPad and supports iPhone 4 and iOS 4 (including high resolution screen and multi-tasking).

Groupboard non-java html5/ajax version now works on Android, iPhone and iPad

The non-java ajax/html5 version of Groupboard has been updated so that it now works on Android, iPhone and iPad devices. You will be automatically redirected to the ajax version of any Groupboard if you connect on one of these devices, or if your browser does not support java.

GroupWorld.net updates: ability to choose webcam, support for Mac USB headsets

We have recently made a number of updates to GroupWorld.net, including:

If you have multiple webcams on a PC you can choose one by right-clicking on the Groupworld icon in the system tray and clicking 'choose webcam'.
Mac USB headsets are now supported.
Buffering slider removed and defaulted to zero (buffering increased delays and is generally not needed).
The name of the user who is drawing on the whiteboard is now displayed beside what they are drawing (similar to Groupboard).
Simpler plugin installation for Mac OSX users.

New Office file formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) now supported in Groupboard Designer and GroupWorld.net

We have recently updated the file conversion script in Groupboard Designer and GroupWorld.net so that you can now upload documents in the new Microsoft Office XML format to the whiteboard.

Groupboard.com server will be offline for about 15 minutes at 1am EDT on Saturday 10 July

Our server will be down for a short while at around 1am EST on Saturday 10th July in order to add a second hard disk. This is the first downtime in over a year - currently the server has been up for 476 days, and that was just a precautionary reboot!
