1. Ability to change background and gridlines colours in Groupworld
We have updated the "gridlines" feature in Groupworld, so you can now change both the grid colour and the whiteboard background colour in the gridlines settings:
2. Google Drive now automatically adds transcripts for recordings
Google Drive now automatically adds captions and transcripts to videos for all users. If you have configured your Groupworld session recordings to upload to Google Drive (available in the 25-user and higher Groupworld licences), this will apply to them as well. For more details, see:

3. Safari 26 now supports high quality audio
Safari 26 (currently in beta) now finally supports AudioEncoder and AudioDecoder, giving high quality audio in Groupworld recordings, as well as the ability to play audio from Chrome tabs shared by other users.
This means that Chrome, Firefox and Safari now support all Groupworld features except for sharing audio from browser tabs (which is only supported by Chrome, but users with Firefox and Safari can listen).

4. New presenter options added to Groupworld
Two new room configuration options have been added to the Groupworld control panel: the option to hide trashcan icon for non-presenter (student) users, and the option to only start recording once a presenter and another user are in the room.
