1. Syntax Highlighting added to collaborative code editor in Groupworld

We are pleased to announce that we have added syntax highlighting to the shared code editor in Groupworld. The code editor now provides visual highlighting for over 50 programming languages, including pointing out syntax errors, and can also be used for editing plain text.

3. Desmos graphing calculator.

We have recently updated the graph plotter in Groupboard Designer and Groupworld to be more usable. However if you want a more powerful graph plotter, you can use the free Desmos calculator, which can be used with the Groupworld screen sharing feature. (It works best when sharing a web browser tab with Chrome).

4. Chrome now supports screen sharing without an extension

With the recent release of Chrome 72, screen sharing in Groupworld now does not require any extension to be installed by the user. This applies whether the Groupworld room is hosted on our server or your own web server.

Firefox already supports screen sharing without any extensions, and the next version of Safari will also support screen sharing (you can test it out now in Safari Technology Preview with Groupworld).

5. Bengali translation added to Groupboard and Groupworld

We have recently added a Bengali translation of the Groupboard and Groupworld user interface. We currently have translations for Arabic, Bengali, German, English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese. (You can type text into the chat or onto the whiteboard in any other language as well). Contact us if you would like any other translations added.
